Greg has extensive training as a tracker and naturalist. He also teaches the martial arts. Greg will be an instructor at the Native Eyes program in the Fall of 2009.

In this photo, Greg is teaching a group how to make fire by friction using the bowdrill technique. He was mentored in the Shikari Tracking Guild methods of tracking by Jon Young since the age of 12. Greg was the youngest graduate of the Kamana Naturalist Training Program in 1997, at fifteen years of age.

Greg continues to find excuses to spend time following the many trails and mysteries that the wild has to offer. Some of his most memorable experiences have been: living for a year as a caretaker at the Tracker School primitive camp in the New Jersey pine barrens, studying tai chi in China and following animals in the Emerald Isle.
